1. Recently, you completed a report about an animal that lives in your local habitat. For our next assignment, I would like you to pick a plant that lives in your local habitat and research about it. Once you have gathered enough information, I would like you to do a write-up on the plant. It could be a flower or a tree. Here are some questions to consider?
-Where does it live besides your local habitat? (in Canada, in North America?)
-How long does it live?
-Are there any animals that use the plant for food or shelter?
-Is the plant endangered in any way by human activity?
-Why did you choose this plant?
"I can identify questions to investigate about the types of plants and/or animals at a local habitat, and the conditions under which they live."
2. Have fun researching your plant. Don't forget to get 30 minutes of physical activity.
